Bebo avoids love making with Saif

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor might get intimate in real but when it comes to explicit their love on celluloid, Bebo wanted to play safe. She wants the intimate scene between her and Saif to be chopped out. In Rensil D’Silva’s ‘Qurbaan’, Saif and Kareena comes too nearer which may look little awkward in the eyes of their respective parents.

Kareena has done many hot sequences with her co-stars in films like Fida, Tashan and Kambakkht Ishq but when it comes to make love with her real life beau, she avoided. She is not at ease in making love with Saif on screen as it will be watched by every single member of her family.

But the regret is that she could not complain now as she had already made the commitment.

Let’s see whether Bebo could convince her director and get it deleted.

Aamir plays a lead hero in wife’s film

Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao have planned to surprise their audience by concealing Aamir’s lengthy role in Kiran’s upcoming movie but their plan shattered with the revealing of the secret. In Kiran Rao’s much awaited flick, ‘Dhobi Ghat’, Aamir Khan is playing the lead hero instead of cameo. The duo tried to keep the fact hidden till the release of the film but the secret cannot be concealed more and the surprise is out.

‘Dhobi Ghat’ features ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ actor Pratiek Babbar with Monica Dogra. Aamir has completed his part and the film is in the post production stage. It is expected to hit the theatre soon.

Aamir Khan always tries to offer something unique to his audience and this time too he has made an attempt to shock his fans but ended with an unfruitful result with the leak out of the secret.

Deepika Padukone looks ugly!

Deepika Padukone who is known for her style statement in real as well as in reel shocked her audience when she appeared very awful in an item number done in a Telugu film titled Love 4ever. Her hair styling and make-up was done in such an amateur manner that she looked very atrocious in the song.

Interestingly, days back her item number was reported to be one of its kinds and it was also said that Deepika was looking hot and sexy like never before. But the result appeared to be just opposite.

Deepika debuted with a Kannada film, ‘Aishwarya’ but this is her first item number in a south film. Deepika Padukone said that she had accepted the song as it is very crucial and the story moves forward with her song. Directed by Jayant, the film has two lead debutantes.

Deepika’s dance number has been choreographed by Ahmed Khan at a Hyderabad studio.

Shahid Kapoor has not forgiven Ashutosh for insulting Priyanka at IIFA

Though Priyanka Chopra chose to stay cool and quiet about it, not many have forgotten Ashutosh Gowarikar’s verbal blow at the actress during IIFA when he commented that not Priyanka, but Aishwarya deserved the best actress trophy.

This has of course not been forgiven by Piggy Chops current boyfriend, Shahid Kapoor too. This is how Shahid chose to express his anger at Gowarikar.

With the completion of ‘Whats Your Rashee’, Ashutosh penned down a new script for his next film and then he approached Shahid for the film. Though Shahid has earlier committed verbally to do Ashutosh’s next film, after the IIFA ruckus he refused to work in the film.

Before Shahid, Gowarikar had also approached SRK but he too turned down the offer. Seems with Ashutosh’s increasing bonding with Bachchans is stealing away his old friends. Beware Ashutosh lest you fall!

Sanjay donates money to Manyata

Next celebrity to promote their film on Salman Khan’s ‘Dus Ka Dum’ is Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff for ‘Luck’. The three had a great time on the show recollecting past memories. Sanjay won 10 laks rupees which he has donated to his wife Manyata’s NGO Damage, working for the under privileged and disabled children.

Sanjay Dutt says, "10 Ka Dum is a great show to be on! Salman's fantastic as the host! I was there with Jaggu and it was a riot. The three of us had a smashing time. Salman mimicked me, and made me sing and dance to songs from my films."

He confirms winning Rs 10 lakh for the show, "Yes, and I donated it to the NGO Damage. They are doing great work and help the poor and disabled."

Saif likes Bebo’s sexy look

Kareena Kapoor’s entire family have watched ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ and they are really happy with the outcome, specially Saiffu dear who is totally sweep away with Bebo’s sexy look in the film. In the film, Kareena looks hot and glamorous like never before.

Talking about Saif’s view, Bebo said, "Saif loved my look and styling done by Aki Narula in Kambakkht Ishq. He doesn't like the song 'Bebo mein Bebo.' His favorite song is the one in Venice with Akshay, which goes 'Lakh lakh'. Saif enjoyed KI so much that he says he can watch it again and again.

He likes to see me look glamorous and sexy and not just in films. He wants me to dress up all the time when we are going out for dinner or to parties."

Kareena's parents and sister Karisma Kapoor too liked her look and acting and said that they will be happy to watch it again and again.

"My mother (Babita) loved Kambakkht Ishq so much that she's going to the theatre again today with 15 friends to see it with the audience. Lolo loves David Dhawan kind of entertainers and has loved this too," said Kareena.

Celina Jaitley is happy that homosexuality is legalized

Celina Jaitley is one actress who has never been shy to express her feelings on homosexuality. She was the one who came out to launch the first official gay magazine in India and also had to face a lot of threats and abusive remarks for standing up for the gay community. Now that Article 377 has finally been nullified and homosexuality is legalized in India, she is definitely happy.

Here is what she had to say to express her feelings, “I have been receiving threats from radical and cultural groups. But I was simply standing for the fundamental right of a human being, so what if he or she is a homosexual.There are many people in the film industry who are from the sexual minority and they will now be able to come out in the open.Some of the people who have touched my lives were homosexuals. I owe a lot to them.”

Aamir & Katrina as Guru Dutt & Waheeda Rehman

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next will be a movie based on Guru Dutt’s biography by Nasreen Munni Kabeer. The movie will have Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in the role of Guru Dutt and Waheeda Rehman. Before this, Guru Dutt had himself made the movie ‘Kagaz Ke Phool’ based on his own life. Later filmmaker Johnny Bakshi made ‘Khudaai’ in which Rajesh Khanna was cast to play Guru Dutt.

In keeping with the roles they are to play in this yet untitled film, Aamir and Katrina posed for the latest issue of ‘Cineblitz’ in the look and getup of the original actors Guru Dutt and Waheeda Rehman.

Salman speaks highly about Shahrukh

After the ugly spat, Salman Khan many a times spoke highly about Shahrukh Khan and the recent being on his show ‘Dus Ka Dum’, where he played with Govinda and Riteish Deshmukh. The host and the guests gelled quite well with each other and as usual Sallu Miya was in upbeat mood while hosting. In the middle of the game, when Salman asked Riteish Deshmukh who is his favorite actor, Riteish was quick to reply, Shahrukh Khan. The name did not annoy Salman to the slightest; on the contrary he praised the actor and said that he too agree that Shahrukh is a brilliant actor.

"I didn't get any negative vibes about Shah Rukh from Salman on the show. He was very cool and dignified and didn't pass any snide remarks about him. In fact, Salman spoke highly about SRK and his work", Riteish said.

Riteish who is good in mimicry copied Katrina Kaif’s dance step from Race. Salman took it sportingly and even complimented the actor. Riteish quit the game after winning 10 lakhs rupees and he donated the money to Salman's Being Human foundation.

He was on the show with his co-star Govinda to promote their upcoming film, ‘Do Knot Disturb’.

Sanjay Dutt's death-defying stunt in Luck

Sanjay Dutt has performed a stunning action sequence for the forthcoming Luck. He jumped from a speeding train, blindfolded and with his hands tied behind his back without any cables or dummies.

Director Soham Shah says, "This is one of the biggest and most expensive highlights of the film. It's his introduction in the film. The characters are testing their luck."

During the shot the production, as a precaution, set up cables and kept harnesses ready so if anything were to go wrong there would be no injury to Sanju but the latter refused. The death-defying scene was executed in Goa with five running trains by ace action master, Allan Amin.

Luck releases worldwide on 24th July by Studio 18.

Katrina feels unsafe

Katrina Kaif is feeling unsecured and threatened over poor security. She is desperately looking for a new house following increasing number of intruders barging into her house.

Confirming the news, Kat said, “I don’t feel safe any more. I’m a free-spirited working girl and pretty confident about making my way through the concrete jungle. But when strangers reach your door, it’s time to worry because there’s just me and my faithful maid in the house.”

But Katrina is paying the price of being a celebrity. “I’ve looked at a number of places. But the minute they know it’s someone famous, they hike the price. I need to move into a place where I feel safer living alone. No matter what it costs,” said the actress.

Katrina’s effort to secure her place ended in a smoke after her new maid had a difference with the old one. “The new maid couldn’t get along with the first maid, so I had to ask her to leave,” added Katrina.

Katrina’s sister Isabel is learning acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute and the actress said the she will feel secure after her sister joins her in Mumbai but there is some more time as she is still in the learning process.

If ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ has hit the headlines for Akshay and Kareena’s ten kisses then ‘Love Aaj Kal’ went a step ahead with Saif touching Deepika’s butt. “Gone are the days when we had two flowers nodding on screen to depict a kiss. Today, since Saif and I are playing a couple in the movie, we have to touch and even kiss each other. Physical proximity is high and no one minds”, said Deepika Padukone when she was asked how comfortable she was with Saif touching her butt. In ‘Love Aaj Kal’, Deepika is playing the girl of her age and she feels that in this age of kissing and touching, the question of touching butt sounds dull.

Salman ignores Katrina

While the entire world is raving Katrina Kaif’s performance in ‘New York’, she is finding hard to convince her boyfriend Salman Khan to watch the film. It is not only ‘New York’ but Salman Khan ignores every film of Kat and has watched none of her films till date.

Says a close friend of Katrina, “It really really puzzles and hurts her as to why Salman chooses to ignore all her films. It isn’t as if he doesn’t watch any films. He does. But when it comes to Katrina he suffers from a mental blockade.”

The entertainment industry grieves at the loss of Michael Jackson

The music and glamour world suffered a grave loss in the late afternoon hours of this Thursday on the 25th of June as it witnessed the death of 50 years old legendary star Michael Jackson. He breathed his last at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. His death probably took place due to an overdose of drugs followed by a cardiac arrest.

There was large scale mourning on the death of this superstar with people gathering at Harlem, Apollo Theatre and Times Square in New York, his home town of Gary, Indiana and everywhere else in the country. Jackson was preparing for an epic 50-concert program in London, the first of which was on July 13th, but now the star will never be seen performing again.

Michael Jackson was born on Aug. 29, 1958 in Gray, Indiana. He started his musical career with his brothers, at the age of 11. His greatest creation which tasted the highest success was his album ‘Thriller’ in 1982. By touching a record sale of 65 million copies it has been the highest selling album of all time and is still going.

An exclusive look at ‘Sahib Biwi and Ghulam’

Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan had appeared together in ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ but the movie failed to create magic at the box-office. Now, the two stars are set to appear together again for ‘Sahib Biwi and Gulam’ which is being produced and directed by Rituparno Ghosh.

The movie tells the story of a wealthy zamindar and his beautiful wife. The zamindar is in habit of visiting brothels and kothas which leaves the wife lonely. Then there is a young man named Bhoot Nath who is hired as a servant to this zamindar. Bhootnath comes close to the lonely wife and both soon develop a platonic relationship. Then Bhootnath comes to know and feel his mistress’s loneliness and the life she is cursed to live.

Bipasha Basu

Early life

Born on January 7, 1979 in New Delhi, India, Basu hails from a Bengali family. She is the second of three daughters to her parents, the elder being Bidisha, and the younger—Vijayeta. Although she was born in Delhi, her family later moved to Kolkata. According to her, she had come into modelling and acting quite by accident, because initially she had planned to study medicine.[2] Basu studied science till the 12th standard, and later took up commerce. Although, as pointed above, she intended to become a doctor, her aversion for dissections made her opt for chartered accountancy.[3] However, in 1996, she met well-known model Mehr Jessia in Kolkata; the latter suggested that Basu take part in the Supermodel of the World contest. She eventually participated, and won the contest.[2]

Career


After winning Ford's Supermodel of the World contest, Basu was flown to New York by the Ford Company, where she had a successful modelling career. Basu made her debut film in Abbas Mustan's Ajnabee, with Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Kareena Kapoor. She played a married woman who goes all out to woo her husband’s married friend, and eventually won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for her performance. After a number film, next year in 2002, Basu starred in Vikram Bhatt's thriller Raaz. The film was a big commercial success and surfaced as one of the biggest hits of that year. For her performance in the film, she received her first Best Actress nomination at the Filmfare. Besides acting, Bips, as her friends call her, did the famous video "Tu" for Sonu Nigam's album, Kismat and made a guest appearance in Jay Sean's music video Stolen.[4] In 2006, she won popular acclaim for her Item number Beedi in the song Omkara. The song was a national hit, and Basu's pictuarization was appreciated, with her dancing steps being imitated by the Indian youth.[5]

Basu is currently dating actor John Abraham, They have been dating since late 2002. She previously dated fellow Bollywood actors Milind Soman and Dino Morea. Even though Basu is a practicing Hindu and Abraham is a Christian, both families have accepted the couple. Basu has stated in an interview that though she was raised a Hindu, she believes that all religious groups deserve respect. Basu claims that she was harassed by organizers of the controversial 2006 India Day Parade in Edison, New Jersey. [6] In November 2007, U.K. magazine, Eastern Eye ranked basu on the top, as "Asia's Sexiest Women".[1]

Philanthropy


On January 10, 2007, Basu danced with sex workers at a charity drive in order to raise AIDS awareness in India and promote safe-sex.[7]
